RTX 5090 D v2 OC frame drops in Spider-Man Miles Morales?
It's a joke that a card this high-end drops frames. While diving through Manhattan at top speed, my FPS would dip from 140 to 110; it's still a high number, but on a 4K screen, that lack of fluidity is jarring. GamePP sensors showed GPU power swinging between 400-450W and voltage bouncing between 1.02-1.08V. I tried setting the NVIDIA power management to 'Prefer Maximum Performance', but it just made the fans louder without fixing the dips, which was a total waste of time. I eventually dove into the GamePP BIOS Load-Line Voltage Adjust Wizard and flattened the curve, forcing it to stay in a stable 1.06V window. 3DMark scores jumped by 4%, and FPS swings were compressed to 130-140.
