Stopping Frequency Drops
As my base grew, rotating the camera caused the fans to scream while the frame rate plummeted—a classic case of thermal throttling. I tried limiting the processor maximum state to 99% in Windows, but my minimum FPS dropped from 45 to 30 per RivaTuner, which felt ironic and useless. I used the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel to force 1800 RPM above 70℃ and optimized the processor power plan. RivaTuner showed a stable 55-60 FPS, and HWMonitor confirmed temperatures dropped to 65-71℃.
