Can I fix Crucial DDR4 3200MHz bandwidth issues in Overwatch 2?
It's honestly ridiculous that I'm feeling stutters with 16GB of RAM in Overwatch; it felt like driving a supercar through a swamp. This fragmented experience made it feel like my memory bandwidth was playing hide-and-seek with the engine. My Crucial 3200MHz was fluctuating between 32 - 38GB/s during heavy combat, leaving the GPU idling while waiting for data. I tried the 'Performance' preset in the drivers, but that just bumped my temps up by 4℃ without fixing a single stutter—a total waste of time. I went into the BIOS, forced the memory into dual-channel mode, and disabled Windows memory compression. RTSS showed the frame time variance shrinking from 8 - 22ms to a tight 6 - 10ms, making map transitions feel seamless. I did accidentally disable a critical system service while messing with compression, which caused a few app crashes, but a reboot cleared it. Temps sat at 40 - 46℃, and my fans stayed steady at 1400 - 1600RPM.
