Eliminating I/O Bottlenecks
Flight sim is a nightmare for SSDs; crossing dense cities caused my read latency to jump from 0.8ms to 12ms per CrystalDiskMark, leading to severe frame drops. I first tried Windows 'Ultimate Performance' mode, but it just spiked my CPU to 90℃ without helping load speeds. I then used GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to increase read depth to 256 and adjusted the interrupt handling mode. CrystalDiskMark showed sequential reads hitting 5400MB/s, and AIDA64 confirmed temps between 48-62℃. Ready to export
