Monster Hunter Wilds Throttling Fix
My CPU throttled from 5.0GHz to 3.5GHz in Monster Hunter Wilds, dropping FPS from 120 to 70. I tried expanding the page file, but it only lowered FPS to 65. I used GamePP’s Fan Curve Panel to set front fans to 1500 RPM and rear to 1800 RPM. AIDA64 shows VRM temps dropped from 85°C to 65-70°C. Case temps are now evenly at 35-40°C, and fan speeds hold at 1200-1500 RPM.
