Eliminating Memory Bottlenecks
It's unbelievable that 2666MHz RAM is the biggest bottleneck in a 2026 game. During scene transitions, the bandwidth maxed out, causing 40-60ms blocks per RTSS. I tried forcing an overclock to 3000MHz in the BIOS, but the memory chips couldn't handle it, leading to frequent BSODs—a suicidal optimization attempt. I used the GamePP Memory Controller Load Monitor to set read/write priority to maximum and cleared background memory usage. AIDA64 showed a 12% increase in effective bandwidth, and memory latency stabilized at 75-82ns, with temps at 38-44℃ per HWInfo.
