Improving Tomb Raider Visuals with Kioxia EXCERIA G3
Lara's face looked like a soft-focus filter in close-ups, which was painful for a 4K setup. The Kioxia EXCERIA PLUS G3 was reading at 7000MB/s, but DLSS was over-smoothing the details. I tried switching to Balanced mode, but the blurriness got worse, which was counterproductive. I needed a better approach. I used GamePP DLSS/FSR Image Sampling Calibrator to increase sharpening from 50 to 75 and set render resolution to 100%. RivaTuner showed a significant boost in effective pixels. HWiNFO confirmed GPU temps at 56-62℃ and fan speed at 1500-1700 RPM.
