Solve CPU Bottlenecks
It was ridiculous; in the town scenes of this JRPG, my RX 590 dropped to 25 FPS while the GPU was barely working. I tried enabling XMP memory overclocking in the BIOS, but the town frame rate only fluctuated by 3 FPS—a joke of an improvement. I used the GamePP Resource Scheduler to reassign CPU affinity away from Core 0 and set the process priority to High. RTSS showed frame time fluctuations compressed from 30-55ms to 20-28ms, AIDA64 tracked temps at 58-64℃, and CPU-Z verified clocks at 3200-3466MHz to export.
