Why does Horizon Online freeze when switching map regions?

Traveling across the vast online map, the screen would freeze for 0.6 seconds without warning—a total nightmare in competitive matches. I tried installing the game on a different SATA drive, but loading times jumped from 12 to 45 seconds and the freezes remained, which felt ironic and wasteful. I accessed the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configurator, increased the depth from 1024 to 2048, and optimized the write cache. CrystalDiskMark confirmed 4K random reads rose to 75-88 MB/s, with drive temps at 40-48℃ per HWInfo and latency reduced via GamePP.
