Solving Samsung 9100 PRO 2TB thermal throttling in GTA VI

Running a PCIe 5.0 drive is basically like having a space heater on my motherboard; the Samsung 9100 PRO 2TB gets insanely hot. While simulating heavy city traffic, temps spiked to 78-85°C on HWiNFO, and the speed plummeted from 12000 MB/s to a pathetic 2000 MB/s on CrystalDiskMark, turning the game into a slideshow. I tried enabling power-saving mode in the BIOS, but that just halved my overall performance—a total joke of a solution. I went into the GamePP Fan Curve Config Panel and forced the bottom chassis fans to 100% once the drive hit 60°C. Checking the GamePP Hardware Sensor Page, the drive temp dropped back to 52-58°C on HWiNFO, and the speeds returned to peak.
