Is Corsair LPX DDR4 3200 unstable in Gray Zone Warfare?
This game is a total torture test for hardware; I was crashing every time I hit a combat zone, which felt like playing a lottery with my PC. The default voltage for Corsair LPX DDR4 3200 is way too lean on some boards, causing a 0.02V drop during heavy loads that triggered a system fail-safe. I tried updating my GPU drivers first, but that did nothing—if anything, the crashes happened more often, which was just frustrating. I went into the BIOS and forced the DRAM voltage from 1.2V up to 1.35V and flashed the latest motherboard microcode to fix the memory controller compatibility. In Prime95 Large FFTs, a system that used to error out in ten minutes now runs for 6 hours straight. I did push it to 1.4V once and the RAM hit 68℃, triggering thermal throttling, so 1.35V is the sweet spot. Temps now hover between 52℃ - 57℃. I exported all the crash dump logs to verify, and the stability parameters are finally locked in.
