Why does God of War Ragnarok stutter when summoning units on the WD Black SN770?

Combat scenes were breaking my flow with stutters every time I switched views. The WD Black SN770 was hitting SLC cache overflow, dropping write speeds from 6500MB/s to under 800MB/s. I tried setting virtual memory to half the disk space, but it caused more I/O conflicts and increased frame drops. That was a bad move. I switched to GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Config, raised the depth from 1024 to 2048, and enabled forced write cache flush. CrystalDiskMark showed 4K random reads improving from 45-52MB/s to 68-75MB/s. Loading times dropped from 12s to 5s.
