Genshin Impact Cooling Curve Tuning
During open-world exploration, my frame rate was fluctuating wildly, and the Noctua NH-D15S was running hot. I first tried pinning the fan to 100%, but the noise was painful and the temperature barely dropped, so I abandoned that. I then used the GamePP Fan Curve Config panel to redraw the curve, increasing RPM to 85% at 80°C. In the second test, HWiNFO showed the temperature stabilizing at 78-82°C, and the frame rate locked at 58-62 FPS. Cinebench stress testing confirmed the cooling efficiency is now perfect, so I exported the profile for consistent performance.
