Frostpunk 2 Power Wall Fix
Trying to survive the frost was impossible when my CPU frequency just tanked from 4.5GHz to 2.8GHz after two minutes of gameplay. I tried setting power limits to 'Maximum' in BIOS, but the VRM hit 105℃ per AIDA64, causing the system to shut down instantly. I used the GamePP BIOS Load-Line Voltage Guide to set LL to L3 and tuned Vcore to 1.28-1.32V for a balance of heat and power. Cinebench R23 multi-core score rose to 24500, and CPU temperatures stabilized at 82-88℃ per HWMonitor while GPU stayed at 62-68℃.
