Stopping 4K Visual Tearing
Sprinting down Mexican highways at 4K, I saw weird stretching and tearing at the edges of the screen. I tried enabling V-Sync in the NVIDIA Control Panel; the tearing stopped, but the input lag became sluggish, which felt like a pathetic compromise. I used the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel to set 70℃ as the speed surge point and lowered the trigger threshold to 65℃. RTSS showed frame times converging from 16-30ms to 11-14ms, and HWMonitor confirmed CPU temps stabilized at 68-75℃. GamePP logs verified the fan speed stayed within 1400-1600RPM.
