How to optimize power scheduling for Far Cry 6 on ASUS TUF B760M-PLUS?
It's unbelievable that a TUF board would choke on explosion particles, turning my screen into a slideshow. Analysis showed that during CPU boosts, the VRMs on the ASUS B760M were swinging between 1.10-1.25V, causing physics threads to lag by 15-30ms. I tried enabling Enhanced Multi-Core Performance in the BIOS, but my temps shot up to 98℃ and triggered a massive thermal throttle—what a joke. I instead opened the GamePP Power Plan Switcher, forced the system into 'Ultimate Performance' mode, and bumped the physics engine process priority to 'High' in the Resource Scheduler. The explosions finally felt smooth again, and that jarring stiffness is gone.
