Solving Disk I/O Bottlenecks
At 300km/h, my drive was groaning under I/O bottlenecks; the stuttering was absolutely maddening. I tried running a disk defragmenter, which is useless for NVMe and only increased write wear—a truly ironic mistake. I used the GamePP Resource Scheduler to max out the game's I/O weight and killed all background indexing. Frame time peaks dropped from 180ms to 60-80ms per RTSS, and drive temps stayed within 42-50℃ per HWiNFO.
