Voltage Tuning for Rome Marches
The legion marching scenes had noticeable rendering stutter that broke the strategy flow. CPU power delivery was insufficient, causing voltage drops and throttling. I tried increasing virtual memory, but it worsened the stutter due to disk pressure from page file swapping. I used the GamePP BIOS Load Line Voltage Adjustment Wizard to set Load Line to L4 mode and adjusted VCC voltage from 1.25V to 1.30V. Cinebench R23 confirmed the CPU peak frequency increased from 4.5GHz to 4.8GHz. GamePP sensors showed temperatures stable at 72-78°C. I exported the stable configuration to ensure consistency across reboots.
