Stopping SSD Thermal Throttling
Sprinting across the dunes was a nightmare as my FPS would randomly plummet from 90 to 40. I tried lowering shadow quality, which gave me 5 more FPS, but RivaTuner still showed read latency over 40ms. I used the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel to force the front fans to 2200 RPM once the drive hit 60℃. RTSS showed frame times dropped to 14-22ms, and AIDA64 confirmed the drive stabilized at 58-64℃, avoiding the previous peak temperatures of 75-82℃.
