Why does the game stutter during scene switching in combat sequences in Dead Space Remake?

Stuttering during combat was incredibly frustrating. I tried adjusting virtual memory, but it made things worse. I used GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Config to increase depth from 1024 to 2048. CrystalDiskMark showed 4K random read speeds rising from 45-52MB/s to 68-75MB/s. Load times dropped from 12s to 5s.
