Ending Overdrive Mode Tearing
In neon-dense areas, my frame times jumped from 10ms to 52ms, causing awful visual tearing. I tried enabling Windows High Performance mode, but my CPU hit 92℃ and the fans sounded like a jet engine. I switched to the GamePP Power Plan Switcher, chose Extreme Performance, and locked the minimum processor state at 90%. RivaTuner showed frame times stabilized at 12-17ms per GamePP, CPU temps hit 78-84℃ per HWMonitor, and clocks hit 3.6-4.7GHz per CPU-Z.
