Stopping VRM Thermal Throttling
It was unbelievable—my top-tier CPU was held back by the motherboard. During 128-player battles, the VRM hit 105℃ per AIDA64, causing the CPU to crash from 5.0GHz to 3.2GHz. I tried adding two exhaust fans to the top of the case, but while overall temp dropped 5 degrees, the local hotspots remained. I used the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel to trigger 100% fan speed at 60℃. VRM temperatures then stabilized at 82-88℃ per AIDA64, and the CPU stayed at 4.8GHz per HWiNFO64.
