Does lowering RAM frequency fix locks in Battlefield 2042?
This RAM is rated for insane speeds, but in a 128-player chaos, the Trident Z Royal 7200 just completely choked. As soon as the screen fills with explosions, the whole system hard-locks and I have to hit the physical reset button—it's honestly ridiculous. Memory usage was spiking between 22-26GB, and the controller just gave up. I wasted an hour disabling every single background service in Windows, but it only saved 200MB, which did absolutely nothing. I finally went into the BIOS and slashed the frequency from 7200MHz to 6400MHz and loosened timings to 32-39-39-76. Resourc
