Optimize NVMe Write Cache
Summoning units in Atomic Heart caused annoying stutters as my Samsung 990 PRO 4TB SLC cache filled up. I tried setting virtual memory to half the disk space, which worsened read/write conflicts and increased frame drops. I used GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Config to set the queue depth to 2048 and enabled forced write cache flush. CrystalDiskMark showed 4K random read improving to 68-75MB/s. Scene load times dropped from 12s to 5s, and drive temperature stayed stable at 42-55℃ per HWiNFO, making combat feel responsive.
