Solving Urban Area Frame Drops
It was a disaster; every time I entered the city center, my frame rate plummeted from 60 to 20 FPS. I tried adding two extra case fans, but it only dropped the temperature by 5℃ and didn't stop the throttling, which felt like a futile effort. I used the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel to force 100% fan speed at 80℃ and tuned the start speed to 1100 RPM. AIDA64 showed VRM temperatures suppressed to 85-89℃ from 92-98℃, and HWMonitor confirmed CPU temperature at 78-84℃ with fans at 1400RPM.
