Solving Map Jump Loading Hangs
Map jumps often hung at 60% for seconds, which was incredibly annoying during matchmaking. I initially tried updating the storage controller drivers in Device Manager, but loading times actually increased by 4 seconds, leaving me totally discouraged. I increased the NVMe queue depth from 128 to 256 and enabled High Performance mode via the GamePP Power Plan Switcher. Random 4K reads rose from 40-45 to 62-68 MB/s per GamePP, with SSD temps at 40-48℃ per AIDA64 and Southbridge at 52-58℃ per HWMonitor. Time to verify at 48℃
