Memory Controller Optimization
FFXVI is a work of art, but with XMP on, my memory controller load was swinging between 65-82% per HWInfo, causing 15-25ms latency spikes per RTSS. I first tried lowering the in-game graphics settings; while the raw FPS increased, the micro-stutters persisted, leaving me feeling powerless. I used the GamePP Memory Controller Load Monitor to downclock the RAM to 5800MHz and set the SoC voltage to 1.25V per HWInfo. RTSS showed frame times converging to 9-14ms, and CPU-Z confirmed the frequency was stable at 5800MHz, with temps at 54-60℃ per HWInfo.
