Solving WoW City Loading Freezes
Moving through main cities was frustrating; the screen would freeze for 1-2 seconds, ruining the flow. I first tried updating motherboard chipset drivers, but loading times barely changed, making me cautious. I then used GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to change the depth from 64 to 128 and disabled power saving. CrystalDiskMark showed 4K reads rose to 56MB/s, AIDA64 showed 10-22ms latency, and HWMonitor confirmed 40-50℃.
