Fixing WoW City Micro-Stutters
Walking through a bustling main city, the screen would twitch every few seconds—these irregular stutters were absolute torture. I initially tried setting the fan mode to 'Silent' in the BIOS, but the temperature shot up to 92℃ and triggered throttling, making me very cautious. Via the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration panel, I lowered the trigger threshold to 62℃ and reduced the response time to 1.5s. RivaTuner showed frame times converged to 14-18ms (from 18-38ms), HWInfo confirmed temps at 66-72℃, and GamePP Sensor tracked memory at 42-48℃ to verify
