Dealing with texture loading delays on Corsair Vengeance DDR5?
Every time I tried to cross a rocky ridge, the distant textures would stay blurry for ages. That kind of scheduling delay is just stressful when you're trying to immerse yourself in the journey. My Corsair Vengeance RGB 6400 was hitting high latencies of 98-112ns when handling terrain chunks, meaning the assets couldn't keep up with my movement. I tried increasing the system page file first, but that was a mistake—it just created a disk I/O conflict and made the stuttering even worse. It was a total facepalm moment. I eventually went into the BIOS advanced menu and tightened the primary timings from 32-39-39-76 down to 30-36-36-72, while bumping voltage to 1.40V. AIDA64 confirmed latency dropped to a stable 78-82ns, and the textures now snap into place instantly. I did hit three Blue Screens of Death trying to push the timings too far, but loosening tRAS to 78 fixed it. RAM temps are steady at 50-56℃, and MemTest86 passed 4 cycles with zero errors. Frame times are now locked at 5.1-6.4ms.
