Reducing Random Read Latency
During intense battles, I noticed a slight pause every time a scene loaded, which was jarring on my high-refresh screen. I first tried enabling low-latency mode in the drivers, but it caused screen flickering. I then used GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to increase the read queue depth to 64 and enabled write merging. RTSS showed frame times converged to 12-18ms, HWiNFO64 confirmed SSD temperatures at 42-50℃, and CrystalDiskMark showed latency at 22-40ms.
