Tuning Corsair DDR4 for Human Host
During team fights in Human Host, my frame rate dropped from 144 to 90 FPS. The Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3600 had timing mismatches. I tried increasing virtual memory, but it only extended loading times and didn't fix the stutter. I also had two blue screens when I first tried tightening timings blindly. I used the GamePP Hardware Sensor to monitor the memory controller load. I lowered the timings from 16-18-18-36 to 14-16-16-32 and adjusted tRAS to 40. MemTest86 confirmed the frame generation interval stabilized at 6-8ms. The memory temperature was 48-55℃.
