Why does my PC slow down after playing for a while?
As the session drags on, the input lag becomes noticeable, especially during stealth segments. The RT620P fins were essentially heat-soaking in my cramped case; temps crept up from 65,0C to 88,0C, which forced my boost clocks to slide from 5,0 GHz down to 4,2 GHz. I tried just cranking the fan speeds, but the noise was unbearable and the temp only dropped by 1,0C—a lesson in not being blind with settings. I reorganized the case pressure to a positive setup and linked the RT620P fans to the motherboard's VRM sensors for better synchronization. HWInfo shows my cores are now stable at 68,0 - 74,0C, and my boost is back above 4,8 GHz. I did hit a snag where the top fans started rattling, but some rubber gaskets fixed the resonance. Fans are now cruising at 1100,0 - 1300,0 RPM. No more clock dips after four hours of testing.
