Managing Temperature Fluctuations
While exploring unknown wastelands, the frame rate would occasionally drop to 40 FPS without warning, making me overly cautious during resource gathering. I first tried running a scan with the Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool; it showed everything was normal, but the drops persisted, proving software checks couldn't hit the thermal bottleneck. I entered the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel, lowered the fan start threshold to 55℃, and increased the maximum speed to 1800 RPM. CPU temperature stabilized at 72-78℃ per AIDA64, and CPU load remained at 65-72% per Task Manager.
