When my screen flickers in Ghost of Yotei, should I check drivers or adjust settings?

Frame rate dropped from 120 to 105 FPS with screen flickering every 10 seconds in snowy scenes. I suspected a GPU issue and disabled light sync, which made the flickering more frequent and led to a dead end. The real culprit was a peripheral driver conflict. I used GamePP Peripheral Driver Conflict Detector to roll back the ARGB driver to an older version and disable the background sync service.
