Improving NVMe Loading Speed
During the match loading screen, the progress bar would often freeze at 80% for several seconds, which made me quite worried. I first tried running a disk defragmenter, but this was meaningless for an NVMe drive and only increased write wear. I used the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to optimize the read queue depth to 128 and adjusted random read priority. I/O response time was optimized to 10-18ms per AIDA64, and random read IOPS stabilized at 600k-750k per CrystalDiskMark with 42-55℃ per HWInfo.
