Final Fantasy XVI Core Scheduling
During spectacular summon battles, the frame rate fluctuated wildly between 60-90 FPS, which was very noticeable in fast-paced combat. I first tried disabling all background services in Windows; although CPU usage dropped 5% per GamePP, the fluctuations remained. I then used the GamePP Resource Scheduler to raise the priority to High and bound physics threads to performance cores. Frame generation time converged to 13-17ms per RTSS and CPU temp stayed at 72-78℃
