Fan Curve for Defense Grid
Sandstorm scenes caused the CPU temperature to spike to 90°C, triggering throttling and stutter. I tried maxing out the fan speed manually, but the noise was unbearable, making it an unacceptable compromise for daily use. I used the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel to redefine the temperature-RPM mapping, keeping low RPM below 70°C and rapidly increasing it above 80°C. AIDA64 stress tests confirmed the CPU peak temperature dropped from 90°C to 78°C. This verified that the new curve effectively managed the thermal load without excessive noise.
