Voltage and thermal tuning for Intel i7-14700KF in The Witcher

It's honestly ridiculous—this i7-14700KF was hitting 100℃ like a rocket during high-precision physics calculations, basically turning my case into a toaster. I found that the motherboard's auto-voltage strategy was way too aggressive, pushing Vcore above 1.45V during bursts and triggering immediate thermal throttling. I tried upgrading to a more expensive AIO cooler first, but it only dropped the temp by 3℃ while the throttling persisted; it was a complete waste of money. I finally dove into the BIOS and set a manual CPU voltage offset of -0.08V and locked the PL1 power limit to 253W. In Cinebench stress tests, the core temps dropped from 100℃ to a manageable 82-88℃, with clocks staying stable at 5.4GHz. I did have two crashes during game launch early on, but backing the offset off to -0.05V fixed everything. Now the CPU sits around 85℃ with fans at 2200 RPM. I exported all the thermal throttling logs from Event Viewer to verify the fix, and the voltage parameters are now exported and saved.
