How to fix memory bandwidth issues on Maxsun B850M-K for CP2077?
Cruising through the neon lights of Night City was great until I hit a crowd, and then the game would just hitch. The default memory config on the Maxsun B850M-K was hitting 85-92% bandwidth utilization, leaving the CPU starving for data. I tried enabling Large Page Support in Windows, but that just ate 2GB more RAM without improving a single frame. I eventually went into the BIOS, pushed the RAM from 5600MHz to 6000MHz, and carefully bumped the SoC voltage from 1.1V to 1.2V to keep the memory controller from choking. AIDA64 showed read speeds jumping from 52GB/s to 61GB/s, and the stutters vanished. I did have a blue screen about 10 minutes into the game after the first overclock, so I had to loosen the timings from CL30 to CL32 to get it stable. Board temps stayed 45-52℃ and RAM hit 58-64℃. 1% lows improved from 42 to 58 FPS, with the board staying at 45-52℃.
