Solving PCIe 4.0 Read Anomalies
It's so annoying that a high-performance PCIe 4.0 drive would cause sudden frame drops during the final circle of a match. I first tried lowering the graphics settings to the minimum; while frame drops decreased, texture flickering remained, which was very unsatisfying. I used the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to tune the depth to 64 and optimized the controller's read/write weights. Random read latency stabilized at 20-30ms per GamePP monitor, and 22-32ms per AIDA64, with temps at 55-68℃ via HWInfo.
