Adjust RDR2 Virtual Memory Size
It was unbearable—the moment I rode into Saint Denis, the game crashed to the desktop, wiping out my progress. I tried closing every single background program, but the memory usage still spiked instantly, leaving me furious. I entered the GamePP Resource Scheduler, manually set the virtual memory to 32GB and set the game to High priority. GamePP sensors showed peak memory usage drop from 15.2GB to 12.8GB, with SpeedFan recording 1400-1600RPM.
