Optimizing Memory Bandwidth
To pursue ultimate graphics, I installed a 4K MOD, but walking through Saint Denis caused my frame rate to tank to 20 FPS with severe micro-stutters. I tried enabling High Performance mode in Windows; while the P-Cores responded faster, the memory bandwidth remained a bottleneck, which was incredibly frustrating. I used the GamePP Resource Scheduler and BIOS to tighten memory timings to 16-18-18-38 and increased the voltage to 1.35V. Frame times finally converged to 20-28ms per RTSS, and memory voltage stabilized at 1.35V per HWInfo64, with temps at 48-55℃ per AIDA64.
