Resolving Driver Conflicts in The Sims 5
Frame times in The Sims 5 spiked to 42ms during combat, ruining the experience. I tried disabling the memory device, but it interrupted the game, which was frustrating. I used the GamePP Peripheral Driver Conflict Detector to set AMD driver sync to manual and enabled hardware encoding in OBS. RivaTuner confirmed frame intervals dropped from 8-42ms to 7-11ms. CPU usage stabilized at 62-70%, and fan speed was 2100-2400 RPM. The game is smooth now, and I backed up my config.
