Samsung 990 PRO Cache Tuning
Facing thousands of zombies, the game would crash to the desktop without warning, an experience that left me furious. I first tried updating the SSD firmware, but the crash frequency actually increased, which was incredibly discouraging. I used the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Config to increase the depth from 1024 to 2048 and enabled forced write cache flush. Random write performance improved by 15% per CrystalDiskMark, and SSD temperature remained stable at 45-58℃ per HWiNFO.
