Fixing Manli Snow Fox RTX 5080 OC crashes in Kingdom Come 2
The factory OC on this card is basically a tightrope walk; as soon as I cranked the settings to Ultra, the game just vanished from my screen. The GDDR7 memory on the Manli Snow Fox was hitting a 0.05V drop under heavy 16GB loads, leading to constant checksum errors. I tried dropping the resolution to 2K, but the visuals took a huge hit, and that was a compromise I just couldn't make. I opened the overclocking panel and manually bumped the memory voltage to 1.4V, then dropped the core clock by 30MHz to stabilize the whole package. In 3DMark stress tests, the crashes (which happened twice an hour before) completely stopped. I did have a scare where VRAM temps hit 88°C and triggered a throttle, but optimizing my case airflow fixed that. Now VRAM sits at 72-78°C and the core is 62-68°C. Ten hours of gaming and not a single crash. Config is backed up.
