Optimizing Onda 9D4-VH-D Cooling
During intense combat in Horizon Zero Dawn, my CPU temperature spiked to 95℃, triggering thermal throttling. The game slowed down to a crawl. I tried manually increasing the fan speed, but it resulted in a loud, high-pitched noise without effectively lowering the heat. I needed a smarter curve. I used the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel to set the fan speed to 2000 RPM specifically when the temperature hits 80℃. This optimized the cooling response. AIDA64 confirmed the temperature stabilized between 82℃ and 86℃. Stress tests verified the configuration was effective. I backed up the profile to ensure it persists, keeping my rig cool and fast.
