TUF B760M-PLUS D4 latency fix for Hollow Knight: Silksong
During high-frequency attacks, the once-silky gameplay started having these 0.1s micro-hitches, which is absolutely infuriating in a 2D action game. Monitoring showed that the PCIe lanes on my ASUS TUF B760M-PLUS D4 were having serious I/O conflicts with my peripherals, causing system interrupt latency to climb from 0.02ms to 0.15-0.22ms in LatencyMon. I tried disabling unnecessary devices in Device Manager, but that just lowered my mouse polling rate and made my aim feel off—such an outdated solution. I then used the GamePP Resource Scheduler Panel to optimize I/O priority and tweaked the motherboard VCCSA voltage to 1.25V to stabilize the signal.
