Solving CPU clock fluctuations in Fortnite on B760M?
The way my FPS tanked during build battles was just pathetic—this board's frequency scheduling is a joke. Even under light loads, my frames were bouncing between 144 and 90. The GamePP sensor page showed CPU clocks swinging from 3.2 to 4.8 GHz with voltage fluctuations of 0.07V. I tried the high-performance driver setting, but all it did was make my fans louder while the FPS still jumped around, which was a complete waste of time. I then opened the GamePP BIOS Load-Line Voltage Adjust Wizard, switched Load-Line from Auto to Manual, and added a +0.01V offset to the core. In 3DMark, the frequency curve became a flat line and FPS stayed above 140.
