Stop GPU Downclocking in Rome
Commanding the Roman legions, I noticed micro-stutters as the frame rate jumped between 80 and 45 FPS, with core temperatures hitting 82-88℃ per AIDA64. I tried lowering the rendering resolution in the system; while FPS increased, the visual quality loss was severe, which left me very dissatisfied. I entered the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel and forced the GPU fan to 90% at 70℃, then tuned it to 85%. Core temperature stabilized at 74-79℃ per HWMonitor and VRAM stayed at 62-68℃ per HWMonitor, while GPU-Z showed fluctuation < 3%.
